Armour Guard Type IIR (also known as ‘type-2r’) face masks are manufactured to comply with EN14683 certification. They consist of a 3-ply construction that can prevent large particles from reaching the patient, wearer or working surfaces.
Type IIR Face masks also include a splash-resistant layer to protect against blood and other bodily fluids. They are tested in the direction of exhalation (inside to outside) and take into account the efficiency of bacterial filtration.
Each mask is supplied in an independently sealed bag. Each box contains 50 masks in total.
